I've been using Voltaren gel successfully on my feet for more than 12 years. First prescribed by my rheumatologist for psoriatic arthritis, before being diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy and peripheral artery disorder, I didn't distinguish between pain sources. I just knew it worked like magic. I've continued using it for nerve pain until last week, when Dr Google told me I shouldn't. I'm here to find out what next. This discussion is reassuring me about Voltaren gel. I only needed it before bed, and not again for a couple days until after the next shower.

Hello @geana, welcome to Connect. Thanks for sharing what helps you. I've used Voltaren for many years also but mostly on my hand and shoulders for arthritis pain. I only have numbness with my neuropathy in my feet and legs. Not sure you have used the search function of Connect yet but it works great. Here's a search of Connect using "neuropathy what helps" - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/search/.

It sounds like you have done a lot of searching for alternative therapies and treatments, have you seen the list on the Western Neuropathy Association website? - https://www.pnhelp.org/sites/pnhelp/files/2026-04/Complementary%20and%20Alternative%20Treatments%20to%20Manage%20Peripheral%20Neuropathy%20-%202026.pdf
