@tamartree7 I was the other way around: pain became extreme but RoM increased! I consulted a second opinion surgeon with fresh xrays, to my surprise they said the arthritis on the unoperated shoulder is reasonably mild, so maybe I should delay getting it done given my experience with the first shoulder. My surgeon who did the first shoulder told me the right side would be done first as it was the worst, but the left was more painful and dysfunctional. I got my way. It's taken 15 months and to finally be better than before surgery and I am still working through the neuralgia from the months of extreme pain.
Careful out there, ask lots of questions. Only telling my story will convince others to take control of their own health.
