Research shows smoke of any kind is bad for the lungs. Therefore, no surprise that we Asthma diagnosed people have reactions to smoke. Mold, no mold, it just does not even matter to speculate. Research has been done so we do not need to use our lungs as test subjects. It is bad for the lungs. Pollution is bad for the lungs.

For me, it’s not the scent, it’s the particulates. My asthma is exacerbated by general airborne particulates in smoke, exhaust, etc. It doesn’t even have to be human-made pollution. One of my worst asthma attacks was caused by the wind off the desert which carried a lot of dry desert dust to the city I was visiting.
