Hi
I am 65. was diagnose at 64 for rectal cancer similar to yours it seems.
I was T3 N1. went to the same protocol, after TNT I had a MRI and the tumor is gone. I am on Folfox for 4 month then I will not need the surgery and will be on watch and see. I think you are on the right track. If your tumor is totally gone at the end you may not even need the surgery.

@girafe I am so grateful to you for sharing the details of your diagnosis and process. And it’s really comforting to hear you tell me I’m on the right track.
And the advice about diet, exercise and attitude. I need those reminders, especially the positive part, it’s hard.
