I agree that it’s likely that the numbness hasn’t totally worn off yet. After I lost my husband it took months before the grief really hit me.

@methel I hadn't thought about numbed feelings. I believe you're right. As a peer specialist, I know about trauma triggers: flight, flee and freeze. I'm in the freeze state.
