Hmm, I just found this thread, and I'm glad I did. I recently (8-5-26) received a living kidney transplant, which is awesome. What isn't is that I evidently suffered a traumatic catheter insertion, 7-days with the catheter, and am now dealing with post-surgery incontinence. The other day, the urologist removed the stent, which is part of the transplant surgery. He immediately informed me that I need a new sphincter, but it has to wait one year after the transplant due to my immunocompromised state and to allow my innards to heal. So, I've been trying different pull-ups, pads, etc., and am now looking into my long-term options. One of which is, of course, a clamp, which brings me to this thread. I will hopefully meet with him this week before driving the 3+ hours home to get his opinion and learn what options I can safely look at.

Thanks for any input/insights etc.

The Wiesner clamp is very comfortable comes with three different sizes. I put it on and then forget it’s on because I don’t feel it it, though it’s so tight I can’t pee through it. Amazon sells them for about $40. If I leave it on for three hours, I feel it and want to move it.

With clamps, you need to relocate them every couple of hours if you’re going to keep them on continuously.

They really work.
