Hello. I have had Lanreotide injections for 2.5 yrs but now have a slight increase of 5mm in my liver. I will be going to a consultation soon to discuss starting lutathera options. I have had no side effects with the Lanreotide and am a bit nervous about the side effects of Lutathe. Can you share your experience of side effects, when they started, how long they lasted and how you adjusted . Thanks grandma 207

@grandma207 Hi and welcome to Mayo Connect. Lutathera, also known as PRRT, is a pretty common treatment for NETs. Here is a link to a discussion of how others experienced the treatment:

Where is your primary NET? Has it spread anywhere?

@grandma207 I experienced more fatigue after the infusion for about a month, then felt pretty good..
