@bovic21 The radiation on my wivfe's adrenal gland finsihed 8 days ago.
The problem now is the radiation irritated her stomach so much she is not able to drink or eat anything. She has been in ther hospital for 5 days with fluid IVs, but still not eating.
The doctors are now talking about giving her nutritions thru a tube. It is called TNP.
When I goggled TNP I saw that there are some risks involved.
I was wondering if anyone has some history or knowledge of TNP.

@bovic21 my mom had several GI complications from lymphoma. one time after emergency bowel surgery she couldn't eat and was losing too much weight. the doctors were worried she wouldn't be able to heal from the surgery without nutrition. so she did TNP for a short time in the hospital until she was able to start eating again. I don't remember the exact length of time, but I think it was around 2 weeks. hugs to you both!
