@phobson If you want better help with your hearth & vascular health, may I suggest you see a higher tier Intervention Cardiologist that are located at hospitals like University of Virginia, Duke Hospital in Durham, NC, Johns Hopkins, Mayo Clinic, etc... Dr. Othman at Duke Hospital has given me more info than the cardiologists in my area of Tidewater, VA. We drove 3 hours for each appointment but it was worth it. These doctors are advanced and when a Catheterization is done, they know what to look for.
I wish you well. My problem is Family Cholesterol which is difficult to deal with. I eat clean and visit the gym 5xweek. My CABGX3 has closed up after 11 years and I am living with just my LIMA artery and meds to keep my heart from overworking to keep me alive. I'm praying that the Repatha doesn't destroy my body; I just took my 15th injection. I would like to stay around for our 5 grandchildren.

@prunella1111 I’m so proud of what you do to help yourself be the best you can be. Lots of people sit in recliners, taking pills for ailments that life style could correct while eating McDonald’s then wonder why their health is so bad. I do think lifestyle can improve inherited diseases, but some simply need excellent medical intervention, like yours. I’m so happy you can go see such wonderful doctors. My Medicare would not cover that and I can’t afford to pay out of pocket. I am regularly seeing more and more that Medicare won’t cover. Oh, well. I will continue to do the best I can for optimum health, live a happy energetic life and check out when the time comes.
