Can I asked you if the Clobetasol is what they call liquid chemotherapy.

If so I do have experience with this in treating a pre cancer area on my scalp twice. But did not want to pass on my experience with this unless the medication your are taking was the same thing I had to apply twice a day for 2 weeks. I know mine caused really deep red marking on my scalp but was warned it would.

When I have had SCC and BCC biopsies, MOHS surgeries I was told to apply Vaseline on it to help promote healing from inside and keep scabs from forming. Talk to your dermatologist about this. I will look for the tube that had my solution in it to confirm if I was using the same treatment as you are getting.

I am sure your experience is the same with clobetasol. I just started using the clobetasol solution for a two week period. I opted for the solution because the cream congeals When the lesions come off I will not use Vaseline or Aquaphor - just too greasy and sticky. I bought some Tri Derma cream , and when the lesions fall off I will see how it works for clearing up the raw skin. Vaseline seems to be the knee jerk response from dermatologists, but trying to wipe it off can carry more bleeding, hence the cream.
