Yes, I have had other spine surgeries. I am asking specifically and only about anyone else’s experiences with Deuk Laser Spine

@susiesmith There was a member here on Connect who had laser surgery at Deuk in Florida who had a very bad experience. He had to pay cash that wiped out his savings and the surgery made him worse. His head was falling forward and he couldn’t hold it upright properly after the laser surgery and he was in more pain and weaker than before surgery. He said he was never going to have spine surgery again. His doctors in his country were treating pain and not offering spine surgery. His history of a spine injury was due to an accident while riding his bicycle competitively.

I have also watched some online spine conferences presentations and seen neurosurgeons discussing and joking about laser spine careers if they are looking for a job. That tells you how they view it and because it’s cash only and insurance does not back it, that would be a huge red flag to me.

Have you had opinions from traditional spine specialists? Another suggestion I could make would be to look into Myofascial Release to loosen surgical scar tissue. The tightness of scar tissue can cause a lot of pain. I have years of experience with MFR and it helped me a lot. We have some discussions here you can search for and also see myofascial release.com and there is a provider search at mfrtherapists.com .
