Had TKR revision due to recalled replacement

@steveinarizona What actually happened is that I was not supposed to get that type of joint. They didn’t realize it until they looked at my 3 month e ray. So no cement because they had planned on using the joint that is not supposed to be glued in. 5 months now and it seems to be holding. I had planned on playing PB at 6 months. Now I will push that out to 1 year if it doesn’t fail before then.

@daviduster340 This is definitely malpractice. You don't know if it will fail in the future and you will need revision surgery.

I would demand a written indemnification for any future knee related issues on that leg. This should include surgery, medication, additional physicians, and physical therapy. Have your personal attorney review the agreement or even better, draft it.

If they refuse, sue the incompetent bastards.
