@rpec Home Health will come out about once a week and check your vitals and will change the dressing where picc line is. The antibiotics I have done at home with picc line is fairly easy. They will show you how to do it. You just take vial with the antibiotic, attach it to picc line and squirm it right in. Some I have done once a day and others twice a day. There is only one that I had a bad reaction to and had to stop and that was cefepime. Hope it works out for you. When are you going to start the antibiotic?

@rpec
Are they treating Pseudomonas? Which antibiotic only required once a day?? Which antibiotics have you done via IV?

@rpec - I have had PICC lines four times - once as a hospital outpatient and three times administered at home with health nurse visits once per week. I was being treated for Pseudomonas 2X daily using Cefepime. It was so much better at home rather than having to go to the hospital daily for the infusions! I totally recommend the home treatment.
