@llynch17056 OMG, I believe cholesterol in the 200's is great...My total is 298, however, my Ldl is 198.
The medical powers that be changed the number chart; in the 1960's the good number was 350 or below....not enough people were on statins, so they changed it to generate more $$$$$$. Primary Care doctors are pushing people below 200 to be on statins as well. God help us!

@prunella1111 You believe cholesterol in the 200's is great? Really? The lower the better, if you have have coronary artery disease you want your LDL under 50 for reversal. Studies have shown this. Under 50 is the standard for the European standards.
