I should check my typing, bad wife and I both down- should read - both wife and I are down.
RO today said in visit notes that "EPE is present at left posterolateral neurovascular bundle" which is true, it does say that. But then later it says "Margin Involvement by Invasive Carcinoma in Area of Extraprostatic Extension (EPE): Not identified" To me this means no cancer cells were found touching the outer edge of the removed tissue sample in the area where the cancer extended outside the prostate. So why does he say I have cancer and must have radiation?
I posted full pathology report earlier.

Did you get hell from your wife over that one?
I figured you had a typo. I wasn’t sure what it was.
I use voice recognition for everything and if I don’t read it carefully, it really screws up what I’m saying.

@diverjer Because, as you previously posted, there were TWO areas of concern: one was the EPE (which turned out fine) and the other was an unforseen area about 3mm long where cancer cells were found.
As @jim18 points out, if the cancer was still there after surgery your PSA will probably rise.
But how fast, nobody knows. I learned almost 4 years after surgery that I had a tiny break in the capsule, which was probably the reason my PSA had started to creep up.
But BCR didn’t happen for 5 years in total, so if it’s gonna happen, it will - sooner or later…. or never.
All you can do is your 3 month PSA’s and take it from there, regardless of Dr Ma’s crystal ball…
