I don't recall this being mentioned:
We need to develop and maintain our computer competency: We need to know how to operate our digital devices, we need to be aware of dangers of on line criminals and we need to keep our devices reasonably up to date.
We also need to have backup charging batteries in case of power outage.

I keep online money simple:
I pay with Paypal as much as possible.
I have two credit card accounts, one I carry, one stays home in case the other is lost.
And my credit cards are really debit cards, so there is no chance of over charging and collecting penalties. (If I accidentally go over the account balance, my bank pays out from a savings account, no charge.)
