How do I go about going to get help for chronic pain?

I am so glad you found a place to express your long term pain. Since you are 22, you can schedule an appointment with a doctor yourself. Is there a large teaching hospital in your area? That would be a good place to start because they are more team oriented and more familiar with complicated cases. Whatever you do, don’t give up or blame yourself. It is your time to find answers for this problem. My heart goes out to you and I am so sorry the adults in your life have not taken notice or care of you in this situation. Wishing you courage and answers.

@parrot53 Oh yeah, I know I can schedule an appointment myself, it's moreso getting the courage to do so, haha. I do not think I have a large teaching hospital in my area, I live in a small town with admittedly not very good medical care, and in order to get to a *good* hospital, I'd have to at least go 3 hours out, ha. Thank you though, I really appreciate it.
