@sherrym25: Hi, I had a spinal fusion (T10-pelvis fusion with L4-L5 transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion and L5-S1 transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion with S2AI screws for pelvic fixation). In other words, there is a rod on either side of spine and to stabilize my spine it is now permanently fused to my pelvic bone. I have permanent mobility limitations in bending, lifting (no more than 10 lbs.), twisting. There have been a lot of adjustments in my life because of the surgery--- mentally and physically, but I still wake up thankful for each new day. Thank you for the good wishes 🙂
