@ruthblaze originally he had told me that he could try to trim the meniscus in my knee but that because of my osteoarthritis in the knee, I was going to need a knee replacement at some point. so I figured I'd rather have it done at 83 then at any later age. Now knowing all of what I went through I should've tried the trimming of the meniscus first. But I understand that can be just as debilitating to get over.
