I’m dealing with the same issues. I’ve been able so far to find time away from him at our second home, but last night he called and said he couldn’t find me, so I guess leaving him on his own for a few days is not an option anymore. He probably was drunk. He drinks too much wine on a daily basis. He gets angry when I say he shouldn’t be drinking wine. How do I deal with that????

In our case, my husband's Neuropsychologist suggested he stop drinking, and he did.
So hopefully the Doc is the bad guy strongly suggesting he stop drinking. It just adds to their confusion.
Good luck. 🌼

I firmly believe that you need to take care of yourself and take control at this point. He is just not rational enough and when he's drunk I'm assuming that he is so much worse. How lucky you are to have a second home to escape to! And yes, I would definitely involve family members if at all possible. They should understand the full ramifications of his illness. I'm so sorry and I totally empathize with your situation. Hang in there! And yes use this thread for help. We are all here and we have all been there.
