@SusanEllen66 VIllages are town or neighborhood constructs where people, particularly older adults, can join for an annual fee. The "village" has members who are skilled in various pursuits so if one needs help putting up shelves in your home for instance or shoveling snow off the driveway, the member can call another villager for assistance. I am pretty sure the annual fee covers the cost for these services but there might be an additional low cost. I am pretty sure there isn't, but I haven't been a member of a village network. i would call your town's senior services department or agency to find out, or search online in your area. i have heard these villages are a great thing!
