No experience with Prolia but I was offered Xgeva (same ingredient, different dosage) which I declined after reading the side effects. Then I asked for a dexa scan that showed I did not need Xgeva...yet.... I have had to double check my MO every step of the way for a year, he should have ordered the dexa scan way earlier for a baseline when I started ADT/ARPI and had me check with my dentist beforehand. Without the internet and AI I would be flying blind.
If I do use a bone strengthener in the future I will try what Phil suggested first.
I do understand your comment about the blank look on the Drs face, I see it every appt I have...lol.
Thank you for another data point in this adventure called prostate cancer, so many pieces of a puzzle to put together. Seems I am always waiting for the next thing to happen and for a decision that has to be made. It is exhausting....
