I've taken fluoxetine (Prozac) in a very different context - for raised anxiety during a move, but later decided to keep it. It really just decreased my anxiety and made me feel like my old self again.

In the middle of tapering off of one antidepressant that made me emotionally flat and starting a new one, I did essentially have a panic attack. A trip to urgent care really helped me, and they prescribed something to help me through that weekend. I would not hesitate to go in for care if you feel your body is just not handling the transition well.
