@corneliagd You can actually buy over the counter cream/lotion with 4% lidocaine. I use Aspercreme with lidocaine for my arthritis shoulder and hand pain. It might be worth a try.

@johnbishop thank you for your answer. I am looking for a prescription because of the 5% lidocaine content compared withe the OTC product 4%. The OTC one is also soooo expensive! If I get a prescription my insurance will cover 80%. Thank you one more time !
