@sjde53 I finally had to go to a concierge doctor or what is called a direct care doc which is very similar. Both charge a monthly fee for care even if you have insurance (usually about $100 to $200 per month) but you have much more time with the doctor and can usually get appointments in a day or two. Some require a 6 month minimum commitment and others just charge month to month...so you can try them out and see if they work without a large monetary outlay. They usually do not charge you for appointments and some of them will do blood draws for free.

All of the ones I have gone to allow you to interview the doctor before you commit to payment and that is when you ask them about their experience with long covid and whether they can consult with other docs about a treatment plan.
