@njed I've been wondering too whether my balance has gotten worse lately, or if it's just the heat and my legs tiring out earlier in the day than they used to. I remember how you called them plateaus. Have I dropped down a plateau? How has your balance been lately, Ed? Any changes? –Ray

@ray666 I do believe there is a plateau you can hit with PN and then a step downward occurs. My numbness has not changed too much in the last year however I know my balance is worse than a year ago. Why? The million-dollar question. If my numbness is not worse, why the decline in balance. I think at times it is stunning to recognize many of us have a diagnosis of PN.....yet, such a huge variety in symptoms. Someday, not real soon, this will get figured out and I have no doubt many cases are genetic related.
