Insurance company is denying Evenity

It was weird that Dr only suggested Evenity. Never mentioned Forteo or Tylmos. I’m going to wait and see what they say when they call me back. If they’re adamant about Prolia I’ll go elsewhere. Or see if I can get a break financially with the company themselves.

This seems to be the “drug of the day” …new studies are revealing significant improvements in as little as 3-6 months. So many practitioners are looking at Evenity a little closer as a first line treatment in some cases.
Part of it is patient compliance is much better since Tymlos and Forteo require self injection daily. One of the good things is if for some rare reason it’s not working out you have the opportunity to go to Evenity…just remember it’s not always appropriate right now in every case but they may change.
