@ray666 Interesting the foot drop came on before PN. Do you have any lower back issues in L-3 to S-1 area or right-side spinal disc issues? My drop foot came on out of the clear blue sky, left foot started slapping then right 6 months later,
all PN related according to Mayo.

@njed Lower back issues? Yes, but I've been blaming it on my failure to find a good ergonomic desk chair. My back will feel fine as the day gets underway, but then as the hours pass––and I use a kitchen timer to be sure I get up, move around, do a few simple stretches every 30 minutes––by early afternoon my back will have started moaning "Oh, groan … " (That's how it's feeling right now: 2:20 pm.) Mine, too, came on without warning. I had left a meeting and was walking one city block to where my car was parked … and what's this? How come my right shoe is sliding on the pavement? I was sent to see a spinal doc some years ago in the early days of my PN, when we thought we might pin down a cause The spinal doc said, Yes, there's a little encrochment on your spinal cord, but nothing warrant surgery, and it's doubtful it has any bearing on your problem balance, –Ray (@ray666)

@njed I've been wondering too whether my balance has gotten worse lately, or if it's just the heat and my legs tiring out earlier in the day than they used to. I remember how you called them plateaus. Have I dropped down a plateau? How has your balance been lately, Ed? Any changes? –Ray
