@ray666 Ray, I didn't know you developed drop foot. Is it one foot or both? Remarkable how similar our symptoms are and the walking on uneven surfaces is a huge struggle as well. My wife and I were beach walkers for years and many times on uneven surfaces which I would not attempt today without knee pads, shoulder pads and a helmet. I am following your progress with Stepper. Be careful, good luck.

@njed Hi, Ed– Yup, I developed foot drop in my right foot a long, long time ago, well before I started having PN balance problems. I was given a Velcro-strap boot, and, as best I can recall, the foot drop cleared up––at least 90% of it––in a month or so. It wasn't until I started doing PT to try to fix my PN wobbliness that one of my therapists said, "I see you've some foot drop in that right foot." It was then that I realized I was still shuffling or sliding my right foot, not dramatically, but it was noticeable just the same. For me it was mountain trails that I loved, non-technical climbing some of the state's 14'ers and 13'ers; when Mell and I gave up our mountain cabin about five years ago, to some degree our giving up the place was because of my worsening balance: just making my way to and back from the outhouse was become a high-stakes adventure. 🙂 –Ray (@ray666)
