Recently diagnosed with MCI. So far no real symptoms but they want to start me on IV infusion. I'm in very good health. I take no maintenance meds. I work at 3 to 5 days a week at my gym. I've eaten a plant based diet for the last 8 years. I have neuropathy from a very arthritic cervical spine which has been operated on twice. I want to start infusion with Kinsunla instead of Leqembi which I think is a better option. I have one Apoe-e4 gene and one e-3. The new FDA dosing is designed to enhance safety and efficacy. I would like to hear any info about this new updated dosing that improved Kinsunla's risk profile

@jetrob my opinion only.
MCI is NOT dementia.
I was diagnosed with MCI about 4 years ago, and have not gotten worse. I am still classified as an MCI patient but actually getting better!
MCI is basically an initial step, where you can still live without help.
Until you get to a point where you can’t take care of yourself, then you’re classified as having a form of dementia. (there are many forms).

I would ask your doctor why they think you need those infusions if you just have MCI.
