@johnbishop Excellent suggestion! I've got a couple of those short step ladders around the house. I may enlist the services of one of them. A thought I had: my walker. I haven't needed the walker because of PN (not yet anyway!); I've had it since I had my knee surgery 20 years ago, but I've used it lately when I do sit-to-stands. I've got pain arthritis in my "birth" knee, and the walker serves as a perfect guardline when I do the sit-to-stands. ––Ray (@ray666)

@ray666 Walker is good too if the handles are not too low. I did use my walker to test how it would work, basically turned it around so that the front of the walker was facing the Stepper and then held on to the walker handles while using the Stepper.
