This cancer is very hard to treat. I knew a couple of people that had it. The usual treatment is chemo with carboplatin. There are some DLL3 trials that would definitely be worth looking at.. If you can get into one of those you should, Since there are not a lot of options.
I know that one person had it in their liver and it was isolated and they were able to have that piece of their liver removed and they went on to live for many years.
Normally neuroendocrine prostate cancer is very aggressive and moves very quickly. The two guys I know that had it have passed. It is one thing I fear most after 16 years with prostate cancer.
