If "their medications" means osteoporosis medications like tymlos, forteo, evenity, fosomax, reclast and Prolia, then most people who take them do not have side effects. Most people who are using sites like these are experiencing side effects and are searching for answers to what treatment will work for them.
You might enjoy a group called OsteoBoston which is free and has wonderful on all topics concerning osteoporosis. They have a Zoom meeting each month (tomorrow is the next one) and then they are posted on YouTube.

@rose140 For many osteoporosis drugs, the majority of people taking them have no side-effects. The people who do have side-effects are the ones who go to forums like these to ask about how to deal with them. If you have an osteoporotic fracture, you will have a lot more "health issues" (like chronic pain, disability) than any osteoporosis drug.
