@vostie I just started LDN and I started at 4.5 mg. That was my Doctors order. I’m having night sweats. I was taking it in the morning and it made me sleepy so I moved it to the evening. With the night sweats I tried moving it up to 4 PM. But I’m still having them. Did you have night sweats and did they get any better? I’ve been on it 2 weeks.

@ljpj I started low-dose naltrexone at the beginning of Covid and I can say that I went through a lot of the same symptoms you did. It really is just a hold on and see type of thing. Mine eventually cleared up and I do find a great benefit from this medication.

@ljpj did the night sweats start with the LDN? I was having night sweats before I started LDN as part of my long Covid journey. Starting at 4.5 is very unusual for low-dose naltrexone… Almost everyone starts at 1.5 or lower and then works up extremely slowly to 4.5. There are lots of side effects if you start that high. You might want to do a Google search on low-dose naltrexone Studies and you will see most are starting at 1.5 and some even starting at .5. The whole trick is to slowly increase to minimize the side effect
