@jlharsh it was meant to cover FAQs throughout the diverticulitis journey, no matter how long that road is. Some may have had 1 episode and wondered if they'll have more, and never did. This explains that many people have that experience. For those with more than one it goes deeper into the subject and attempts to answer the most common questions along the way. I hope it helps, and as always, consult your docs for your actual personalized medical advice. But we all know you only get a certain amount of time and attention from docs so hopefully this information allows patients to be better educated and allows those discussions with their docs to be more productive and to get more out of them than they would otherwise have gotten. @jlharsh One additional comment for you, since I see you are a mentor. I'm assuming you have access to colorectal docs and surgeons and the department overall at Mayo. If not, disregard. But if so, I've published this and other tools on patient sites (I'm a bit of a novice research geek) and I get people all of the time saying "This is great! Why don't my doctors explain all of this to me?" I get it, the Docs only have so much time, and they have dealt with these topics for so long that some of the basics of a condition probably seem common sense/common knowledge to them. But I think it would be good for them to work on reverting to a patient's point of view and putting information out like this. I know, liability and all - attorneys - probably won't let them. But it is just an idea to pass along if you have the capability and think it is worthwhile. Thanks.
