@jeffmarc My first blood work six weeks post treatment (18 months Orgovyx) showed PSA still <.01 but testosterone has risen from <10 to 48. Regretfully, I don't have pre-treatment testosterone number. I still have plenty of hot flashes but am starting to feel a bit more "normal."
@jeffmarc Do men on Orgovyx versus Lupron recover faster in general? That is what I have heard.
@jeffmarc
You are full of helpful information, thank you.
My husband had a pathological left hip on July 14th 2026 after 10 months of diagnosis with Prostate Ca stage 4 with metastasis to the bones; 9 months of treatment with Erleada 240 mg and Lupron shots (x2 received since February). His hip repair was successful and his pain on left lower extremity has improved from severe (10) to (4-5). His PSA is 30 from a test 1 week ago. His initial PSA was 32 but it went up to 56 then down to 30.
My question is, are the current treatments of daily Erleada 240 mg and Lupron shots every 3 months adequate? These treatments are affecting his strenght, RBC/hemoglobin levels, weight, which we understand due to lower testosterone levels. He is 77.
I am concern about his psychological well being and I try to motivate him on a daily basis. I use cases that I read from this venue as examples of positive outcomes. Any resources that you know of that we can tap into?
@jeffmarc Well, Jeff... I guess I’m probably an exception then; I used Orgovyx for 17 months—my testosterone level was 7 at the end of that—and I had an orgasm again two months later. I’m 71 years old.

My testosterone was even in my question.
it has creeped up to the mid-60s. I am 77.
I was on ADT for 3 months and am approaching this 10 month marker.
My concern is these symptoms plus lack of good sleep are affecting my heart and overall health.
I want to see an endocrinologist.
