My first spine T score, in 2014, was -3.8. I avoided drugs, started taking D3 and K2 and in 2024 by spine T-score was down to -4.8. Now after a year on Evenity, it's up to -4.3, which is still terrible.
I see my endo in September and will do my research into options between now and then. He says Prolia, no surprise, but doesn't that one have worse rebounding than Reclast? At 67, should I care about starting a drug I can never stop? Sigh.

Evenity is suppose to be one of the better aggressive treatment options but it just might not be working for you. Tymlos is suppose to be very good (I’m on it 10 months) not as convenient as once a month though. Prolia is more of a “maintenance drug” once you establish gains. My doctor also recommended that as a “first line” drug…no…very wrong..unless there are circumstances preventing you from taking it. Prolia is the one with the most serious rebound. According to some there is a way to get off it but it isn’t easy. For example if you can’t take one of the bisphosanate drugs …
