My pleasure.
The big problem is not the disease it is the years I have spent jumping over the hurdles it threw up only to find they are getting higher and my work arounds are not so effective anymore. I'm already thinking how to work around the loss of leg use which is starting and definitely the next on the hit list, if I get that J tube. This disease never stops progressing, the best that can be done is to slow the progression. The body has moved on to the self destruction as it desolves anything it can to maintain the brain. Thankfully I'm not a fat head!!
I'm supposed to be in hospital but I'm not ready for that yet. Yes I'm tipping over the ragged edge but I haven't fallen yet and I'm clinging on for grim life. Most God fearing people would be saying God is protecting me. If you accept that then it follows he also gave me this present in the first place! Comming from a science background I can't say that without the proof, but I have to admit to wondering, as I cannot explain why I'm still coping and functioning as "my normal", still blindly making the correct choices not knowing if I'm doing right or wrong. Intuition is my guide. I really should buy the T shirt that depicts a drowning person with hand raised and thumb up, the words are; I'm fine, everthing is OK, I'll be fine. Sums me up in a nut shell.
Cheers.
Take care.
