I was surprised that the pathology report showed serous cells after being told they were only Grade 1 endometrial cells ... but he was reassuring. Had total panic attack this morning but have calmed down. I'm in that blindsided place of disbelief! Can this be true? Is this real? Due to the serous, he will remove everything and due to my age that's fine with me! He also feels I am not too old for all of this as he has worked on women in their 90s!!! Right now I'm in waiting room for imaging to get cat scan ... good Lord there is so much to do! I want this over with!!! Also echocardiogram ordered as I have a heart stent (from 15 years ago). He's crossing every "t" in the safety department and I'm glad. Wish I didn't panic but I guess that's "normal" and I'll get over it and acclimate to this new lifestyle

@karieblu I get it. I really do because this diagnosis is a traumatic shock no one of us ever expected to hear. I've had panic attacks too and wish I never had one again. It's good that you tell yourself that this is normal given the circumstances. I think that after allowing yourself some time you will adjust to all of this newness. Many of here are a testament to that. We did not choose to have cancer, the majority of us have no clue why we had cancer but here we are living our lives. And supporting one another.
