@baj He may be remembering a dream and will soon forget it. Just don't respond. That behavior frequently occurs in neurotypical people who are light sleepers. It may be an indication that he is undergoing sleep interruption. A true hallucination is a person being awake for a long time, not just minutes and seeing something that isn't there.
