@kimlily2005 My husband is on lequembe actually into his 24th infusion. He's had MRI's and Petscans during various infusion dates, with no brain swelling. He hasn't experienced any side effects that I can see. He came home from the last infusion and went down to his boat and was cleaning it. That surprised me. I don't know if the lequembe has reduced the amyloid plaques; we'll know that when he reaches his 36th infusion 6 months from now. Hopefully, then he can go on maintenance. I read from someone on Mayo Connect, the maintenance infusion may be done at home but I'm not sure. I haven't discussed it with his doctor. Do I notice any difference? He appears a more organized; his things, napsack, phone, watch, all stay in one place. Before he was constantly losing everything. He still has short term memory loss and needs help with phone, PC, etc. He helps in the kitchen, does forget where things go, but other days remembers. He is still independent, but I do notice, things need to stay calm for him, or he gets irritable. He's always been pretty mild mannered. We haven't done a lot of traveling. He tells me he just wants to stay home. The structure is important to him, so we stay home. Best, Karla
