@gphunt Thank you very much and I'm so afraid of still having to take the ativan and tapering off of it too, and not feeling well at all. I am currently at .625, after my NP finally agreed to let me cut to that from .75mg, as she wanted me to cut to .50mg. Am I doing myself harm by going this slowly meaning I'll wind up taking longer to taper than the time I took it, for 5 weeks? There are some who say taper can be much quicker based on the short time I took it, however, even with this smaller cut to .625mg, I'm experiencing withdrawl.
My NP has been suggesting this could have been done in 2 weeks and that's what they would do in the hospital and detox, etc. but my fear is protracted withdrawl which I believe can happen even if taper is done slowly. Wish I had only taken this for a very short time.
