@neigenfindk I mostly went to orthopedist because I had a lot of questions. He did mention a fusion surgery but that’s not something I’m interested in, at least not right now. He did give me. Script for lidocaine patches but I haven’t picked them up yet so I can say if they will help.
I’ve been using Extra Strength Tylenol, 2 tablets twice a day and that seems to usually help some. He mentioned trying Aleve which I thought was not good to take long term but he said just using it occasionally was ok. Apparently it works differently than the Tylenol and it (Aleve) fights inflammation so I’ll give it a try.
Another question I had was whether I needed a new MRI since my pain had shifted from my hips and right leg to my lower back. He said not necessarily. After looking at the MRI pictures again and seeing the area of the stenosis, I doubt that will change except to get worse.
I may try another injection soon and hope it helps more this time.
