@h16027 I have had Hashimoto's for many years. Runs in the maternal side of my family. I have had weight gain but also weight loss. It has gone back and forth for me. Hopefully you are going to an Endocrinologist because my experience is that they know more about what is going on. I am now 75.

Yes, I understand. Interesting that u have had both gain & loss of weight. Has ur Endocrinologist explained how this could be? Appreciate ur comments. (I was under the care of Endocrinologist with Graves Disease/Hyperthyroidism years ago. Currently working with Rheumatologist, Pulmonologist, Gastroenterologist, Cardio, etc. as I also have Sjögren's, Raynaud's, & Dysautonomia.)
