@roch I have had quite a struggle with the surgeries my diet we have came up with is not very exciting I add dry milk to everything that I can the artificially flavored protein products do not stay down so my protein is mostly cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, turkey meatballs, tuna salad and chicken salad. I have to eat a baked potato a day due to the potassium pill unable to stay down and then a few veggies. I take zofran daily for nausea I take a tiny tablet or a suppository due to the under the tongue due to the artificial strawberry flavor my gag reflex makes me ill and comes out before it dissolves I take 40 milligrams of famotadine daily. Usually every month or two i usually have to go back on a liquid diet to get my stomach to heal from all the agitation. My doctor has on standby orders on iv fluids for me to go to the short stay at the hospital to keep me hydrated. I had my sleeve in December 2013 had my gallbladder removed in April by October I was on the feeding tube that’s when my neuropathy and seizures began had the Rouen Y in October 2015. I started the process at 33 when my two sisters passed away of heart attacks 3 months from each other they were 35 and 33. Thought I would be fine both my parents had Bariatric surgery no problems I had them for support thank god they were there when the one doctor who did my first surgery at a local hospital in Michigan just kept saying I was overeating they were like no she can’t eat she can’t drink all she does is get sick so being finished with him I went to the university of Michigan hospital they put me on the feeding tube and the head Bariatric surgeon did the revision. My primary doctor has been wonderful I just call and she sends me for urgent bloodwork and then I go get iv fluids and usually an iv of potassium which is horrendous. University of Michigan I follow up every 3 months with the Bariatric surgeon and the nutritionist to see if there is anything new to try. The one happiness was I had my panniculectomy this last September they took off 18 lbs of skin I had to follow that up with 8 weeks of iron infusions. I’m now just concerned of my heart issue everything was normal before my surgery last year and when they did the ct scan for my broken ribs is where they noticed my aorta was enlarged to 4.2. I have been unfortunately well versed in heart problems within my family I was 5 when my father had his first heart attack followed by almost all of of my parents brothers and sister and their children before the age of 50 many have passed away. I know that the abdominal aortic aneurysm can be fixed my father and his brother both had surgery but scary to wait on drs my moms brother passed at 27 from a ruptured aorta when I have counted on I’ve had every heart test done yearly and it has always come back good sorry I rambled on it’s just rare to find someone who is kinda going through the same thing
