@dederickve yes I agree the isolation is one of the hardest things. But it does help to connect with community online. Just to feel less alone 🤗❤️

The only way you can have time for yourself is respite care, either bringing in someone from a licensed/bonded caregiver business, going through a social worker or VA if applicable, or hiring someone yourself.
This is like a prescription you need to fill for yourself, doctor's orders.

Before I become a caregiver I use to help out my neighbor, I would just go sit with her husband for a couple of hours for her to get out, do you have a family member or friend that would help? Also try some online support groups such as Family caregiver alliance, there are also a lot of online classes for relaxation such as art, drawing, yoga they could give you some relief.
