I took fosomax/alendronate for 5 years. No noticeable side effects.
Nor were there noticeable side effects with forteo, evenity or Prolia.
Please send a link to any credible research you have used for these assertions.
Certainly osteonecrosis can occur with fosomax or Prolia but it is rare.
Have you or someone you care about had this rare side effect?

Thanks gravity, excellent questions. All drugs have some side effects. The question to ask a Dr is specific side effects and the likelihood they will happen.

Drs prescribe drugs because they feel the benefits outweigh the risks. We need to follow that method when considering any OTC treatment.
