I’m on 8 mg. Prednisolone since January 2026, doctor added MTX, 15.5 Mg. No improvement. Then he added injection of Kevzara every 2 weeks. Just had my 2nd injection 4 days ago.
Only thing I’ve seen change, is I may have a UTI. Will have to have that checked.
Pain has increased after each injection, is that typical reaction at first?
I read it may take a few months for Kevzara to help.
I didn’t notice any improvement from the Methotrexate.
My pain now is mainly in
My groin, hips.
Some stiffness and pain in shoulders.
I don’t feel like my treatment is helping.

Sorry you have not seen much improvement.

I have been taking methotrexate for about three months after tapering off of prednisone which I only took for about two months.

Since methotrexate is tough on the liver and kidneys, I go for blood work every four weeks. So far so good.

While I still have pain in my groin, hips, and stiffness in my shoulders, my condition is much improved. If necessary, I take Tylenol or Advil sparingly.

Good luck.
