@kfhoz good information, will check into that. Have not yet found anyone who specifially does or is more concentrated on osteoporosis patients; my endo is who my PC sent me to, my gyne sent me to a rheumatologist my orthopedic doc's (who fixed broken wrist and said bone looked great) practice doesn't treat osteo. I am finding if one asks recommendations from their primary care doctors you will get someone in that doctor's "group" which is perhaps not the best for osteoporosis specifically. A few University hospitals are close to me but haven't researched that enough; one endo recommended for osteo (through doc google) is part of my current doctors group! I am not far from Cleveland Clinic or University of Chicago's bone health center, maybe next step. As posted many times I am just frustrated by the lack of info I get, what little I know about osteoporosis and treatment I have gotten from sites like this, not a doctor. Chronic lifelong problem I would like information - anything, books, websites, ideas for nutrition, supplements, exercise and exactly what, etc. I can't get information in a once a year 20 minute appointment.
