I have vertigo when I lay down to sleep. Even when my eyes are closed. Any thoughts?

@benthedog You might benefit from having the Eply Manoeuvre done under supervision. Many physical therapists can help you with that, or even your family doctor. It reseats the tiny crystals in your inner ear into the correct chambers so that they move properly when and as your head moves to show your brain where you are in space. It's safe and can be done in a two minutes once the actions commence.

Mine was severe and was remedied by a vestibular physical therapist. When the Epley maneuver didn’t work on me he knew to try a different maneuver (I think it was called barrel roll, but not certain) because I had a more unusual form of vertigo. It’s called horizontal vertigo.

I definitely would seek out a vestibular therapist.

Best wishes, Cindy
